Will the government continue fuel subsidy for fishermen: TELO President and Vannei MP Adaikalana​than

TELO President and Vannei district Parliamentarian Selvam Adaikalanathan question does the government continue fuel subsidy for fishermen as the promise earlier.Statement released by the parliamentarian contains, At present tense situation raised and people are facing financial burden due to sudden fuel price hike in this country.Due to this several protest campaigns were organized all around the country. In such situation government announced they will grant fuel subsidy for fishermen of this country. Price of 1lt kerosene oil increased by Rs.35 but government has given Rs.25 as fuel subsidy. Price of 1lt diesel increased by Rs31 and Rs.12 has been announced as fuel subsidy. But fishermen were forced to by Rs.10 for kerosene oil and Rs.19 for Diesel more. Fishermen engage in various fishing activities such as deep sea fishing, some engage in the motor boat fishing and some other various ways. It was suspicious how long government would grant fuel subsidy for all these fishermen. Fishermen engage in the deep sea fishing use 100lt kerosene oil per day for this were force to spend be Rs.1000/- for their daily fishing activity. Resettled people are suffering from lack of electricity facility. They depend on kerosene oil to full fill their daily work. This fuel subsidy for not implement for these resettled people. These poor people are facing difficulties to by kerosene oil for their work. By reducing the fuel price government would be able to benefit all the people of this country said the parliamentarian.
