The National Election Commission says Pollling cards for the upcoming Presidential Election will be handed over to the Department of Posts (Sri Lanka Post) on the 2nd of September 2024.
Chairman of the National Election Commission R.M.A.L. Rathnayake says the 8th of September 2024 will be declared a special day to hand over the polling cards for the upcoming election.
Accordingly, the process of printing of 17,140,354 polling cards has begun.
Additionally, the polling card will make it easier for voters to verify their identity at polling stations.
