The former UPFA MP Sajin de Vass Gunawardena’s bail application has been rejected today by the Colombo High Court Judge Padmini N.Ranawaka.

The petitioner, Sajin de Vass Gunawardena had requested his bail on exceptional grounds on deteriorating health conditions.

But, however, the Colombo High Court Judge Padmini N.Ranawaka directed that his condition does not endanger his life.

Thereby, it does not come under exceptional circumstances, the Judge said.

Sajin Vass Gunawardena is in remand custody over the alleged misuse of 23 vehicles belonging to the Presidential Secretariat.
