TNA to hold protests during the time of CHOGM

Tamil National Alliance decided to hold massive protests during the time of Commonwealth Heads of State meeting 15th November -20th November in the North and Eastern parts of the island.

TNA also called upon migrated Tamil’s to hold protests in their respective nations.

TNA parliamentarian C.Sridharan said this protest will stress on to hold investigations on war crime allegations, genocide attacks, land accusations, disappeared people and also political prisoners detained at prisons.

Speaking to people at Neerweli area parliamentarian went on to say,

First protest organised on November 15th at Jaffna. Preparations are currently underway.

At present Channel-4 released new evident on murder committed by Lankan military personals. They have killed Issaipriya on brutal manner.

However relevant local officials fail to hold further investigations this regard.

We stage protest on demanding to hold international investigations on these issues.

TNA leader R.Sambanthan has ordered to hold protests in northern SriLanka. In order support our demands we request Tamil Nadu citizens to organise protests in their state.

TNA Northern Provincial Council members Vindhan Kanagaratnem, A.Paranjothy, B.Sivayogan, P.Kajadeepan, P.Iyangaranesan and C.V.K.Sivaganam were also present at this meeting.
