An agitation was held in London against the thug attack on the Secretary to the Judiciary Service Commission and demanding a halt to interferences in the affairs of the Judiciary in Sri Lanka.The agitation organized by the UK branch of the Movement for Democracy in Sri Lanka was held opposite the Sri Lanka High Commission in London and a large number of people representing political parties and professional sectors had participated.After a two hour of agitation the agitators have handed over a letter to the High Commissioner to be sent to the President of Sri Lanka.After the agitation the organizers have decided to hold a massive protest rally in London with the participation of lawyers and other professionals living in the UK.
