People in the Jaffna district stage protest on condemning the attack carried out against the chairman of the Nallur Pradeshiya Sabha and also against the land grabbing in the area.This protest was lead by the members of Tamil National Alliance at Jaffna Bus Depot this morning.

Protesters raised slogans such as

Establish democracy!

Grant land and sea for our people!

We need our own lands!

Does not attack people representatives!

We need our own rights!

Tamil National Alliance parliamentarians E.Sarawanabawan, Sridharan, TNA local council leaders and the members, Former parliamentarian and the TELO political Leader MK. Sivajilingam were also present at this protest.
