While opposing the abolishing of the 13th Constitutional Amendment, the    Sri Lanka Muslim Congress is preparing to submit a written explanation to President Mahinda Rajapaksa, in that regards.Mr Basheer Segu Dawood, President of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress, says that, an awareness programme in this regards is due to be held at “Dharussalam”, the party Headquarters on the 28th of this month, for the members of the local government institutes who represent the party.He has further mentioned that,during this programme, members of the local government institutes of the party will be made aware of the 13th Constitutional Amendment, The ‘Divineguma’ Bill, and the current political situation of the country.
