The petition due to be filed at the Supreme Court today by the National Freedom Front repealing the 13th amendment to the constitution has been deferred.A release issued by the party states that the petition had been deferred based on advice the party received from its senior attorneys.However the NFF notes that the petition will be filed before courts in the near future.Central Working Committee member of the NFF Piyasiri Wijenayeke expressing his views to our news team made the following clarifications in this regard.
