Around 40 percent of China’s state sector workforce are members of political parties, said political critic Vipula Karunatilake.
In a discussion with ‘Ideas Front’ YouTube channel, he said in Sri Lanka, government partner JVP was preparing to transform the state sector into that Chinese model.
Joining in, Samabima Party leader Deepthi Kumara Gunaratne said Sri Lanka was not united as a nation and partly blamed it on the JVP.
