The Election Commission has increased the sum a candidate can spend on a voter.
Accordingly, the Commission said a candidate can spend Rs.20 per voter.
A decision was earlier reached that a candidate can spend only Rs.15 per voter.
Therefore, with the revision, candidates can now spend Rs.20.
